From an early age, I’ve been captivated by good design, starting with fashion. I needed to be the best-dressed kid on the playground, which sparked my love for creating fashion with function, particularly handbags. I pursued my passion for design at the beautiful Savannah College of Art and Design, where I honed my skills and explored how to make design most functional for the user.
After graduating in 2013, I moved to NYC and spent over a decade working for the nation’s largest department store’s private brands. I collaborated with top industry peers and celebrity brands, contributing to their growth and success through innovative design and strategic business development.
My career evolved as I fell in love with digital design, leading me to pursue UX/UI Design studies at Pratt Institute and Thinkful. During this period, I worked closely with industry professionals and mentors, gaining the skills to innovate in the digital realm.
Now, as the sole designer at EntryPoint Networks, I blend my background in product and digital design to create visually appealing, user-friendly experiences. I work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging AI technology to innovate and streamline our processes. Currently, I’m leading an overhaul of our SaaS products to enhance functionality and user experience.
My design process always starts with the end user. I focus on their feelings, needs, and desires to create designs that truly satisfy them. You might call me a ‘people pleaser,’ but in design, success is determined by the happiness of your customers. My approach involves iterations, exploration, testing, and refining the cycle to achieve the best results.
Designing is more than a job for me; it’s a passion that fuels my creativity and drives me to deliver exceptional results. Let’s create them together.
